2011 - 2012 Season

  • Below is a summary of the upcoming season.  Be sure to review the Schedule page, Tournament Rules page, and the News and Updates pages.  Be sure to come back often for any updates.  We will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
  • This season has a two part series which consists of a Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters Club Affiliate three (3) tournament series and a regular season series.
  • The Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters / Slab Masters GA State Championship will include 3 one day major tournaments at Lake Blackshear, Lake Talquin, and the finale at Clarks Hill Lake.
  • A point system from all three tournaments will be used to determine the GA State Champions.  The points system is the same format as used by Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters and will also determine the winners of the Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters National Championship Classic Qualifiers.
  • There will be individual lake winners at all 3 tournaments as well as the overall champions of the series.
  • Pay outs for the Championship series will be 90% total.  80% of entry fees will be paid to the individual lake winners and 10% of entry fees will be held at each lake and combined for the Champions Pay Out at the end of the three tournaments.  Pay back to 1 place for every 5 boats and big fish will be 100% with a 70/30% split to 1st and 2nd Big Fish.  (Example:   40 boats = 8 paid places and 2 paid places to big fish).
  • Entry fees for the Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters GA State Championship Series are $200.00 per team and the Big Fish entry is $10.00 per team.
  • Only a Slab Masters membership ($20.00 per person per season) is required to compete in these tournaments.  Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters memberships will be due once a Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters National Championship Classic Qualifier is used by a winner.
  • We will follow Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters rules for the Championship series and a modified version of the rules for the regular season.
  • Regular Season Tournaments Entry fees will be $100.00 per team and Big Fish will be $10.00 per team.  Pay back will be 85% of entry fees to 1 in every 6 boats and Big Fish will be 100% with a 70/30% split to 1st and 2nd Big Fish.

This is only a snap-shot of the guidelines.  It is your responsibility to be familiar, understand, and abide by the official complete rules for the season.
